Changed template back. I dunno how to get rid of that annoying solitary link. It's disguised in all that HTML. *growls*

More IRL
I found out this past week that James' Chili's (the one he had been transferred to last year) was a mere 5 minutes from my college. Naturally, I found this out after it gets shut down. *rolls eyes*
And Greg may become a rowdy manager yet. ^_~ Yesterday was payday, and all around me, servers were opening their checks. I walked up to Greg.
"Greeeeeeeg?"
"Yeah?"
"Everyone's getting their checks!"
"And?"
"Where's mine?"
I swear, the michevious grin on his face--! "Oh, we don't pay people who don't work."
(Now, see, if you know me, you know the only thing I take seriously at the workplace is my ability to do my job. I'm proud of the fact that I am the top sales per hour person right now, not to mention I'm making a killing in our Upsell Contest.)
I mocked pain. "Oooo, that one actually hurt!"
Greg looked pleased with himself.
"We might make a manager out of you yet," I grinned at him.
Later, he was really going full swing. "Uh, Greg," I mentioned at one point, "that's enough practice for one day."
"Ah, what'sa matter? Can't handle me?" Chuckle.
"Man, you ARE getting the hang of this!" I laughed.
*makes a Neko plushie to go with her Rondo plushie*
In Animal Crossing: Lyridia
I found out AI is a bit meaner than I thought. oO;
See, PomPom the duck was getting in my way, and I couldn't get around her. I kept pushing against her, figuring that, since characters getting in the way in games was a common thing, she wouldn't mind.
Boy, was I wrong.
"HEY!" she yelled at me, steam blowing out of her ears, "what's the rush, Speedy McHurry? You don't need to push me around."
My brothers didn't believe me, so I did a repeat performance. Boy, was PomPom mad. ^______^
Sadly, it looks like my Golden Shovel tree is dying...I hope I can plant a better one tomorrow.

IRL
Forgot to say that I attended a piece-bit Seder meal this Weds. That was nifty.
Greg (one of my managers) and I have a funny (funny ha ha) relationship. We tease each other constantly, pretending we don't like each other. But we can always tell when the other is being serious. That is cool.
Like the poster bit. I made a Rita contest one, which looked pretty nifty.
Greg and Chad made a UpSell contest one.
I remember staring at it yesterday.
"What do you think?" Greg asked proudly.
(I'll be honest--printed word cutouts and slapping paper together does not appeal all that much to me.)
I peered at Greg. "Do I have to be honest?"
"No," Greg deadpanned.
"I love it! It's a work of art!" I chortled.
We broke into laughter.
Today, I admitted to him that he is one of my favs, and told him I had one other fav (though I did not say who). I told him that I felt that not all the managers were as easy to joke with as Greg, that I was afraid that an innocently meant joke would pop out at the wrong time and cause the wrong reaction, and I'd get fired or written up or something.
"Naw," Greg assured me, "some of them may seem rough and tough, but they have thick skins."
I'm pretty sure I know who he meant, and it's funny--he's my other fav.
Then there was the Chad pen bit.
When we were starting to get busy, and he couldn't find another computer, he came to my section's computer. He's frustrated, irritated, tapping his pen nonstop.
I glare at him, then grab for the pen.
He glares at me, then grabs for my tip jar.
"FINE!" I yell, and toss the pen back.
He grins that evil impish look of his, and taps his pen on purpose now. "Is that annoying? Is that annoying? Is that annoying? Is that annoying? Is that annoying? Is that annoying?"
I glare again.
I care lots about Ron. I really really really hope and pray that he's got God. He goes to church...but...
*prays a little more* If ever anyone deserved it (though we don't), he'd make my list. *hugs her Rondomon plushie*
Animal Crossing: Update in Lyridia
It's raining for the third day straight. And I was miffed about missing the chance to see Katrina the fortune teller screw up.
Turns out Copper (police dog) was wrong--Katrina showed up this morning.
One of the other residents and I were giggling about fortune tellers, and I decided to go for heck of it. Katrina told me not to feel bad for everyone ignoring me. I laughed--wasn't I just talking to Betty about this?
Sure enough, I go to see Huck (frog)--and he ignores me.
Dora (mouse) makes an excuse to get away.
At least Betty (hen) noticed me, but that was because I got my face swelled up by a bee sting by that time. (See, I was shaking money out of trees, and upset a hive of bees. Oy.)
Now everyone in Lyridia's laughing at my swollen face. *glares at Jay Bird*

Who's Your Anime Boyfriend?
Heaven forgive me. That reminds me of my ex, Michael. *shivers*

What Magical Girl Are You?
Oooooooook. Mentally mature? Well, in a sense, yes. Outcast? Yes. Morbid? A slight bit.

Today
Ron simply loved Rodamas. If you need to see that pic again, here ya go:
Heh, Ron liked it. *is happy* And he seems to have cheered up a bit, too.
I found out that the Chili's James had been transferred to last year was not but five minutes from my college! I never knew till today. Well, a little late now. XP
I got Animal Crossing today and reserved Wind Waker for later. And I can see why Animal Crossing is addictive (sorta). I've already got a slate floor for my one room house in my town of Lyridia, and I'm already cramming a grill, radio, scale, table, and my impromptu seashell collection in there. Now where to put the garden rock...? Heh, I've just started, but I hope to get a bigger house soon. Maybe that comes when I pay off my loan for my house. *thwaps PomPom for being annoying*
